LAS VEGAS, NV - Local Las Vegas bilingual and bicultural singing sensation Veronica Lopez is celebrating the inclusion of her original ballad "America's Glory" in the Record of the Year category on the Ballot for the 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards. "America's Glory"is receiving airplay on Clear Channel Stations nationwide. Backed by a 20 plus piece orchestra, Veronica performs an impressive rendition of her heartfelt ballad in a manner befitting the song which has come to be known as "an Anthem for all Americans."
Originally written by Veronica, as a tribute to her father, "America's Glory" pays homage to immigrants of all nationalities who come to America, struggle but maintain hope and determination, and ultimately become citizens, paving the way for their children and grandchildren to pursue their dreams. She has performed this ballad for national audiences at government events and rallies, most recently in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
"America's Glory" was arranged and co-produced by Veronica, along with famed composer, musician, singer and arranger Sergio Alberti, a native of Central America. The accompanying music video, co-produced by Lopez and award-winning producer/director/screenwriter, Art Zapata, takes the viewer on a visual journey that will touch hearts and bring a new level of understanding to "America"s Glory".
No stranger to the music industry, Veronica has co-produced 2 of her cds, Chisme (Spanish) and Reflections (Inspirational) on the Indie LO4 Label. She continues to tour at fairs and festivals in the United States, as well as for events internationally. Veronica is often requested to sing "The National Anthem" as well as "America's Glory" at opening ceremonies and for sporting events across the country.
