Speakers Bureau to Represent

Douglas (Doug) Kramer,

Diplomat American College of Health Care Executives

June 30, 2008 Las Vegas, NV: Star Entertainment Worldwide announced today

that it has reached an Agreement with Douglas (Doug) Kramer to exclusively

represent the healthcare expert and speaker in its Speakers Bureau

Division. A veteran of 25 years in the healthcare industry, Kramer has

extensive experience in line and staff management of healthcare

organizations, large and small. Having operated his own consulting firm,

New River Healthcare Consulting, for the last five years, Kramer now joins

a growing list of experts represented by Star Entertainment Worldwide in

their Speakers Bureau.
 

Star Entertainment Worldwide represents a large and diverse group of

speakers and entertainers. The Speakers Bureau is comprised of experts with

extensive experience, all of whom are talented orators with the ability to

tailor their subject matter to the needs of the client’s audience. These

professionals can be hired as keynote or featured speakers, emcees, or

trade show hosts. The addition of Doug Kramer will open a new area of

Kramer brings a wide variety of award winning experiences to the forefront.

An award winner as a Master’s Degree Student for outstanding research in

the impact of federal policy on health management, particularly of the

elderly patient, Kramer was recognized as the outstanding young health

executive for the state of North Carolina. His operational experiences have

ranged from acute care to mental health/substance abuse care to home care

and long term care. He brings a special emphasis on community

responsibility for health status management and the role of local

governments, health providers and health managers in effecting positive

change. He has also spent time as visiting professor and adjunct professor

at the university level. He has spoken extensively on the impact of health

policy and payment systems, and his consulting firm has dealt extensively

with product development and promotion all at the local level. “Peter

Drucker was correct in his assessment that a health care organization is

the most difficult business in the world to manage,” says Kramer, “but in

recent years the intrusion of policy makers and third party payors into

local health delivery has made the manager’s job even more difficult.”

Believing there is no standard approach to solutions, and that success

begins at the local level, Kramer’s goal in consulting and speaking is to

focus on innovative responses to local challenges.
